Graduated from the University of Louisville with a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology in 1995 and completed an internship at the Illinois State Psychiatric Institute in Chicago. Dr. Levinson has worked in community mental health centers as well as in private practice. Currently performs neuropsychological evaluations, both on an outpatient and inpatient basis. These include assessments of adults with progressive dementing syndromes, strokes, brain trauma, attentional problems, and developmental and chronic cognitive dysfunctions. He has experience with physical rehabilitation patients, with both adult and geriatric populations, addressing cognitive and emotional difficulties. Additionally, Dr. Levinson provides outpatient individual psychotherapy sessions with adults to address treatment of depression, anxiety, relationship and interpersonal problems, and other difficulties related to emotional distress.
