She has extensive experience working with chronically ill children and teens, and spent eight years at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, primarily helping pediatric oncology patients understand their diagnoses and the medical procedures they faced, while expanding the skills they needed to cope. Rebecca also spent time in the ICU’s emergency room, radiology department, and outpatient clinics.
Rebecca started her career in a clinic serving traumatized children, then worked for a hospice as a child and adolescent grief counselor before moving to a local children’s residential program. She specializes in ADHD, anxiety, depression, chronic illness, trauma, grief, and loss in children through young adults.
